This course is designed for geothermal geoscientists or other intersecting divisions, who has mastered the basic understanding of geothermal systems from geoscientific point of view. The purpose of the training is to enhance the participant’s understanding regarding the last processes of geothermal exploration sequences – geoscience data evaluation, conceptual model building, well targeting and preliminary resource assessment. This training will be held in five (5) days, each day will bring different main topics. The topic for Day 1 and Day 2 will be geoscience data evaluation, including geology, geochemistry, and geophysics (G-G-G) data evaluation, and interpretation of the components of hydrothermal systems from the evaluation. Day 3 will continue with building conceptual model from the evaluated data. Day 4 will proceed with the topic of well targeting, which targets the resource that has been evaluated and modeled. Lastly, Day 5, will be closed by the calculation of preliminary resource assessment by using numerous methods.
