The Geothermal Master’s Program, Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), held its 7th Geothermal Forum with the topic “Updating Geothermal Exploration Activities and Regulations in Indonesia.”

The forum featured Mr. Herlambang Setyawan, Sub-Coordinator of Geothermal Exploration Supervision / Policy Analyst at the Directorate of Geothermal, Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE), as the main speaker. The session was moderated by Yahya Maulana, a student from ITB’s Geothermal Master’s Program.

The event took place on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 13:30 to 15:30 (Western Indonesia Time), and was broadcast live via Zoom and YouTube.

This forum provided valuable insights into recent updates on geothermal exploration activities and regulatory frameworks in Indonesia, supporting knowledge exchange between academia, industry, and government institutions.
