The Geothermal Master’s Program, Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), successfully conducted another session of the Geothermal Forum Series 2023 on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 13.30 to 15.30 (Jakarta Time). The event was held in a hybrid format at the Exploration Room, 2nd Floor, Energy Building, ITB.

This week’s forum discussed the topic “Operation Success Story of PLTP Wayang Windu.” The session featured Ismail Hidayat as the speaker and Leonard Alvin as the moderator.

The discussion provided valuable insights into the successful operation of the Wayang Windu Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP Wayang Windu), covering aspects of surface facilities, system automation, and sustainable geothermal power generation. Participants had the opportunity to learn from the practical experiences and best practices implemented in one of Indonesia’s leading geothermal projects.

The Geothermal Forum Series is a regular program organized by the ITB Geothermal Master’s Program to facilitate knowledge exchange and discussions on advancements in geothermal exploration, engineering, and technology.
