The ITB Geothermal Master’s Program, Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), successfully held another session of its Geothermal Forum Series 2023 on Friday, February 24, 2023, from 13.30 to 15.30 (Jakarta Time). The event took place offline at the Exploration Room, 2nd Floor, Energy Building, ITB.

This week’s forum discussed the topic “Fault and Structure Study for Field Development Strategy in Patuha Geothermal Project.” The speakers were Yuris Ramadhan and Chevy Iskandar from PT Geo Dipa Energi, with Fauziah Maswah serving as the moderator.

The session provided insights into how fault and structural analyses play a crucial role in determining field development strategies within geothermal projects, particularly in the Patuha field. The discussion highlighted the importance of integrating geological and structural understanding to enhance reservoir management and optimize geothermal resource utilization.
