The Geothermal Master’s Program of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) successfully conducted the Geothermal for Everyone Training Series, held over two days on March 18–19, 2022 via Zoom.

The program ran for two consecutive days, with the first day (13:00–17:00 WIB) covering the first and second topics, and the second day (08:00–13:00 WIB) focusing on the third and fourth topics. A total of four comprehensive topics were presented throughout the training:

• Geothermal System, Geothermal Manifestation and Exploration — presented by Angga Bakti Pratama, S.Si., M.T.
• Geothermal Engineering and Utilization — presented by Ir. Nenny Miryani Saptadji, Ph.D.
• Economic Issues of Geothermal Energy Utilization — presented by Ir. Ali Ashat

The instructors were lecturers from the ITB Geothermal Master’s Program as well as professionals in the geothermal industry, ensuring a balance between academic and practical perspectives.

A total of 52 participants joined the training, consisting of 24 professionals from geothermal companies — including PT Supreme Energy, RIGSIS, PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero), PT Organo Science Laboratory, Schlumberger, Solenis, Pertamina Geothermal Energy, PT RPG, PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance, PT Abdi Panas Bumi, NESR Indonesia, and DJP — and 28 participants from academic institutions such as STT Migas Balikpapan, Universitas Diponegoro, Universitas Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Institut Teknologi Sumatera, Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Muslim Indonesia, Universitas Islam Riau, and Universitas Gadjah Mada.

Throughout the sessions, participants were actively involved in both the lectures and discussion sessions, creating an engaging and collaborative learning atmosphere. The Geothermal for Everyone Training Series concluded on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 13:00 WIB, officially closed by representatives from ITB.
