The Geothermal Master’s Program of ITB successfully held another session of the Geothermal Forum Webinar Series 2022, featuring a presentation by Dwiyogarani Malik, a senior geochemist from Wayang Windu Geothermal Field, West Java.

The session, held on Friday, January 4, 2022, from 13:30 to 15:30 (Western Indonesia Time), focused on the use of radioisotope tritium as a dual-phase tracer for assessing inter-well connectivity in geothermal systems. The discussion also explored how tritium tracer test results can provide valuable insights for developing alternative reinjection strategies to support sustainable reservoir management and future field development.

The webinar was moderated by Riostatieka M. Shoedarto, Ph.D., and attended by students, researchers, and professionals from various geothermal institutions. Delivered in Bahasa Indonesia, the event emphasized the importance of geochemical approaches in geothermal development strategies.
