This course is designed for geothermal reservoir and production engineer or other intersecting divisions, who has mastered the basic understanding of geothermal reservoir and subsurface. The purpose of this training is for participants to be able to explain the characteristics of geothermal reservoirs, flow concepts in porous media, analyze field data for reservoir characteristics, estimate geothermal resources, monitor reservoir performance, and understand reservoir simulations. This training will be held in five (5) days, each day will bring different main topics. The topic for Day 1 will be the geothermal fundamental for reservoir and production engineer. Day 2 until Day 4 will continue with well testing, including completion test, downhole measurements, tracer test, transient – interference test, and calculation geothermal resources assessment. Lastly, Day 5, will be closed by decline curve analysis, tracer and injection.
