The Geothermal Master’s Program of ITB proudly presents another session of the Geothermal Forum Webinar Series, featuring insights from one of Indonesia’s active geothermal fields.

Understanding an explored geothermal system provides valuable knowledge about subsurface conditions and their correlation to the field’s actual geothermal potential. Such insights are crucial for developing sustainable and efficient geothermal resource management.

In this session, we are pleased to welcome Mr. Mauliate A. H. Sihotang, who will share and discuss his study on the Muara Laboh Geothermal System in Sumatra. Recently, Mr. Mauliate published a related paper in Geothermics, offering an in-depth overview of the geological and reservoir characteristics of the field.
