Selection Process

Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 2.75 (on a 4.00 scale).

For the Geothermal Exploration Track: must have an academic background in Geology, Geological Engineering, Geophysical Engineering, or Mining Engineering (Exploration).

For the Geothermal Engineering Track: must have an academic background in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Physics.

Applicants from other relevant backgrounds in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or Engineering may be accepted if they pass the program’s selection test and interview.

Achieve a minimum score of 475 on the Academic Potential Test (TPA Bappenas / UPDA ITB).

Achieve a minimum score of 77 on the ITB English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT).

Pass the selection test and interview conducted by the Master’s Program in Geothermal Engineering.
