Kajian Pembangkit Daya Binary untuk Lapangan Panasbumi a Wibengkok Salak
Awibengkok geothermal field or well known as Salak geothermal field is situated
in the Salak volcanic complex. This field encompassing much of the Quarternaryage
volcanoes i.e: Salak-Kiaraberes-Gagak-Perbakti. The field is located about 70
km south of Jakarta. Now, the field is located on Bogor and Sukabumi regency.
The Awibengkok field is categorized as liquid-dominated geothermal system with
high reservoir temperature range from 221 to 312oC. The current installed
capacity is 375 MW where reinjecting hot brine to injection wells with high
thermal energy that can be utilized for power generation.
This thesis study utilization for binary powerplant of hot brine that produced from
production wells. Based on thermodynamic, the net generation of the binary
geothermal plan is 14.484,5 kW with using isopentane as working fluid for
flowrate 328,3 kg/s and temperature 170oC. And economic analysis shows that
selling price of electricity is 12,275 centUS$ per kW for IRR 16%.
