Metode Empiris Untuk Menghitung Densitas Campuran Pada Perhitungan Penurunan Tekanan Fluida Dua Fasa Dalam Sumur Panas Bumi
Formany years, the study of pressure drop faces the difficulty in determining boundary of fluid pattern which is of high uncertainty. In the process of classifying the fluid pattern, it may lead to more complex calculation and ended with discontinuity. The study is expected to eliminate the previous complexity by using simple calculation without having difficulty in classifying fluid pattern.
The determination of pressure drop for the empirical method was carried out through two ways: directly and indirectly. In the indirect method, the density of the mixture is determined in advance. The empirical correlation was found using linear and nonlinear variables. The linear variable used the least square method, while the nonlinear variable used the generalized reduced gradient method. The best correlation was obtained through indirect approach using the nonlinear variable, with a confidence level r = 0.96. For the 36 data sets for this study, the empirical method resulted in a higher confidence level than the Hagedorn-Brown, Duns & Ross, and the Homogenous models.
