Evaluasi Injeksi Terhadap Lapangan Panas Bumi Dominasi UAP XX Berdasarkan Model Dinamik
Geothermal energy is one of sustainable resources. With proper use and management, it can be produced continuously. One of the main factors which make geothermal energy can continuously be used is the fluid that goes into the reservoir as a media to contain the energy, whether it is from water recharge or reinjection of fluids into the reservoir. Considering this main factor, it is very important to have a good injection strategy to maintain the geothermal energy.
This thesis build a numerical model of vapor dominated geothermal field using TOUGH2-EOS1 simulator which represents vapor dominated geothermal field in general. The model is then used to perform analysis of water injection effects to the production wells.
From the analysis of the reservoir characterization and reservoir pressure in production wells around the injection wells, water injection should be conducted in areas with low vapor saturation and injected periodically to prevent large amounts of vapor condensation which makes a negative effect on production.
