Studi Mengenai Interferensi Thermal di Wayang Windu Berdasarkan Data Tes Tracer
Wayang Windu is an exploitation geothermal field in West Java that operated since June 2000. Being a producing field with a power plant with capacity of 227 MWe, Wayang Windu must continuously supply some sufficient steam to the power plant. Meaning to say, proper reservoir management system needs to be seriously considered, including reinjection strategy. Well-planned reinjection strategy needs to prepare, so that the brine or condensate that re-injected back to the subsurface is not only used as waste disposal but also as a pressure maintenance support and further as an IDS purpose (Injection Derive Steam).
To be able to create a good reinjection strategy, the interconnected pathways between wells need to be understood. This is to ensure whether there is communication between the wells. Tracer test is a way to obtain the information of interconnected pathways, further than that, the tracer test data could also be used to predict the thermal breakthrough, estimate the onset time of temperature decline, and calculate the drop of temperature at the surrounding area of the production well over time.
